Description
Galvanised steel flanged hose tails provide a secure way to connect hose to standard Table D or Table E flanges, making it easy to tie flexible hose runs into rigid pipework, manifolds and valves. The serrated hose tail is clamped to the hose and crimped or bolted to high holding strengths, giving excellent grip and confidence in this proven connection method. Flanges are usually hot-dip galvanised steel, as in this product, but can also be supplied in stainless steel 304 where corrosion resistance or food/chemical compatibility is required.
Applications – Where Flanged Hose Tails Are Used
Flanged hose tails are commonly used to connect hose and then bolt into standard flanged systems:
-
Mine dewatering and pit drainage
Connecting lay flat or rubber hose to steel dewatering headers, pump discharge spools and manifolds in open-cut and underground mines. -
Agricultural & irrigation pump sets
Attaching suction or discharge hose from pumps to flanged valves, strainers or mainline pipework in irrigation systems and general water transfer. -
Construction & civil dewatering / bypass pumping
Hooking temporary hose to flanged manifolds for sewer bypass, stormwater diversion, site dewatering and pump hire systems. -
Fuel & oil suction and delivery (tank truck / loading)
Connecting flexible fuel or oil suction/delivery hose to flanged connections on tank trucks, loading arms or fixed pipework in depots and industrial plants. -
Slurry, chemical and process water lines
Joining rubber or thermoplastic hose into flanged pipeline systems that handle slurry, chemicals or process water in industrial and mining plants. -
Liquid waste, grease pits and sewerage pumping
Connecting suction hoses on vacuum trucks or pump skids to flanged inlets/outlets used for liquid waste, grease pit cleaning and sewerage collection. -
General industrial water & air delivery
Providing a robust hose-to-flange transition for air, water and multipurpose hoses in manufacturing, hire, agriculture and construction industries.
- High-strength galvanised steel construction built to handle tough Australian conditions in irrigation, mining, dewatering and industrial worksites.
- Available in Table D or Table E flanges, allowing direct connection to standard pipework, manifolds, valves and pump fittings.
- Serrated hose tail design delivers exceptional grip when clamped, ensuring a secure, leak-resistant hose connection.
- Reliable hose-to-flange transition for connecting flexible hose runs into rigid flanged systems with confidence.
- Compatible with rubber hose, layflat hose and suction hose, enabling easy integration across multiple pumping and water transfer setups.
- Supports a wide range of discharge and suction applications, from pump hire and bypass systems to agricultural, industrial, and civil operations.
- Optional stainless steel 304 construction available for corrosive, food-grade or chemical environments where additional durability is required.
- Reducers options allow for variable connections
- Proven fastening method using bolted clamps, trusted across industries for its strength, longevity and ease of maintenance.
